Photographs that say more about feelings than aesthetics.
(Don’t worry though, I’ll still make sure you look good!)
My mission is simple:
To make honest, natural photographs that
preserve what you value the most.
Hopefully by now you’ve realised that I’m not your stereotypical traditional wedding photographer
Standing at the edge of a room with a big zoom lens isn’t how I work.
I love to be involved, engage in conversation and capture genuine connections. I’m often asked by guests how I know my couples, or they assume I’m an old friend who owns a cool camera.
I also pride my photography on being honest and reactive in its approach;
If it rains on your wedding day, then it’s damn sure they’ll be rain your photos!
You can get amazing photos in any circumstance, its all about how you embrace the situation and work with it that matters most.

Tom captured such special, fleeting moments; photos that we’ll treasure forever.
We love that he captured the things that could so easily have been missed.
Tom is so much more than just a wedding photographer,
he’s a super talented, all-round top guy.
Absolute above and beyond.

The 3 things I’m asked most about wedding photography:
We don’t think we’re gonna be great in front of the camera
It’s totally normal to feel this way and at the beginning of the journey it can be hard to see how you’ll ever feel ‘normal’ during couple portraits on your wedding day.
How do we pose?
What do we do with our hands?
Will you drag us away from our guests for ages?
With me, you don’t need to worry about any of these things.
No longer than 15 minutes and hopefully at sunset; you can use me as an excuse to leave your guests behind, take a wander in the golden light and reflect on the days events together. The results are simply photos of you, however you are together and how you felt in that moment.
They’ll definitely be no peeking from behind trees, making heart shapes with your hands or other stupid shit that people think makes a great photo.
My sole aim is to make you feel incredibly at ease having these photos taken and create something that’ll remind you of this amazing day forever.
2. We don’t want group photos to take ages out of our day.
We’ve all been to a wedding where group photos took FOREVER, felt really stiff & boring and you’d rather have got a drink and chatted with family & friends instead.
Because of this, I’ve always been super concious to not make these take too long, involve too many people or get overly complicated.
I’m not fussed about height order or neat rows.
Have some fun and make them as enjoyable as the rest of the day.
I usually suggest 8-10 combos, but will always be guided by you.
That’ll keep your Nan happy, give you some cool photos with your parents & bridal party, whilst still getting you back to the party in no time.
We’ll compile a list of group shots before the day, so I know who’s who and can get them done as quickly as pain-free as we can.
3. How long do you stay into the evening reception?
For me, the dancefloor is where the real magic happens at any good wedding.
The formalities of the day are over, alcohol has been consumed and everyone is just hungry for the music to start and celebrate the best way they know how.
Because of this, I always stay for at least an hour after your 1st dance and often longer in the summer months, so we can still make sure to catch that sunset before I head home and leave you partying until the end.
This way makes sure I’ll capture your evening guests that have only just arrived, aswell as take in the dancefloor antics and ambiance of the evening reception.
However if you’re planning a firework display or something else that’s super epic for the end of the night, let me know and we can add-on some extra hours to make sure I’m still around to capture it.
