Getting to know me…
I'm Tom,
A Hampshire wedding photographer based by the sea on the (mostly) sunny south-coast in Portsmouth.
I’ve lived here all my life, I’m a proud husband to Rowena and father to a naughty whippet called Max.
Anyone that knows me will tell you I talk (alot!) and probably too fast, so I’ll apologise for that now.
I’ve been working as a photographer since I graduated Uni in 2009. I learnt my craft shooting live-music (alongside weddings) before going full-time in 2015.
Since that very first wedding, I’ve now photographed over 300 weddings all over the UK, in all seasons and most weather conditions you could imagine.

A few things you should probably know…
I LOVE living by the sea and could never live anywhere that’s more than 10 mins from the water.
I brought a Vespa scooter with my first student loan and it’s still best way to get around town. I even had the mirrors and donned a green parka for a good few years too!
Dark rum will always be my drink of choice, or maybe a dark & stormy if we’re talking cocktails.
I’m a dog lover (especially sighthounds!) and will always advocate for you to have your dog at your wedding.
I have a huge passion for music and am lucky enough to have met & photographed alot of my favourite artists at various gigs and festivals across the UK. (That’s me and my hero Paul Weller).
For around 10 years I co-hosted an indie music show on a local radio station and pride my knowledge of mid-00’s guitar bands as being pretty damn good!
I do enjoy going for a run (well…jog), I’ve run Brighton Marathon twice and managed to get slower each time!
Back in the day I trained and performed as a professional wrestler in the UK, but I *think* I’ve managed to erase any evidence of me in spandex from the internet, which is probably for the best!

I want to be as open as I can with everyone I photograph in the hope that you’ll return the favour and give some of yourselves to me when I shoot your wedding.
Natural photographs only work when you feel totally at ease and hopefully by sharing some things about myself, you’re already feeling more at home.
Relatability is the key to a great experience and finding a photographer that you connect with on a personal level is a huge part of that.
