Engagement Photography in Hampshire

Engagement & Pre-Wedding Photography

Engagement shoot in the South Downs, with a coupke laughing together as the man has his sunglasses on upside down. The lady is wearing a blue floral dress.

I don’t like having my photo taken,
so why would I want more photos?

A pre-wedding shoot is a fantastic way to familiarise yourself to being in front of the lens with your partner before the big day arrives. It’ll also give us another chance to catch up, give you first hand experience of how I work and (hopefully) make you feel so much better about the whole process.

Every couple that did this said how valuable they found the experience and instantly felt more at ease being photographed at their wedding as a result.

These sessions are around an hour long, super relaxed and usually based around a simple walk or hang out in a place you love.
Whether thats a jaunt into the forest, a walk by the sea, wandering through the city or even simply chilling on the sofa at home.

You can even bring the dog (if you have one), catch a sunset and get some cool photos to share that aren’t selfies or snaps from a holiday or night out.

We would 100% recommend having an engagement shoot if you’re considering it.

It really helped us get comfy in front of the camera and was such a fun way to get to know Tom before the big day.

Still on the hunt for your dream venue?

Now that the engagement has been announced and you’re officially in ‘wedding planning mode’ finding a venue is a great place to start.

I always want to be as helpful as I can; so I’ve made a couple of handy guides to help you find that amazing location to host your wedding.
This list is 100% unbiased, unsponsored and all based on my own first-hand experiecenes working at these venues.

Natural photography that’s built to last.

Whether it’s a one hour engagement shoot or a full 12 hour wedding day, I want to make photos that you’ll genuinely want to look back on for years to come.
Good photographs aren’t about the latest trends or making content; it’s about creating a visual bookmark for a page in your life worth remembering.

Being comfortable in front of the camera isn’t a requirement, in fact nearly everyone I work with openly say they don’t like being in photos.
But that’s all the more reason to book someone like me; someone who recognises that discomfort and builds an environment for you to feel safe in front of the lens.

The wonderful thing about photos too is that you have them forever.
The way you feel about yourself in photos nearly always changes with the more time that passes between the event and you looking back at the photo.

So why not do something brave? Something to remember this wonderful stage in your life before you jump into married life?
