Anyway, enough from me and on with the list…
My top Hampshire Wedding Venues:
Wickham Estate - Vineyard
✅ Outdoor & Indoor ceremony spaces
✅ Suite for morning prep and overnight accommodation.
✅ Stunning vineyard location.
Nestled between the Meon Valley hills and the village of Wickham, this stunning Hampshire venue boasts 40 acres of english vines which offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
The outdoor space is obviously the huge draw; but with on-site accommodation, licenced spaces for both indoor & outdoor ceremonies plus a beautifully rustic winery for your wedding meal, there’s alot to offer on the inside too.
The lush greenery of the vineyard in summer is only topped by the golden vines in autumn.
This venue has never let me down for a perfect sunset either, so if golden hour is important to you, you’ll definitely want to take a look.

From the huge picture frame window in the Cow Shed, to the lakeside ceremony space outdoors, this venue has all the room you could ever need to host and accommodate a big number of wedding guests.
If you’re a fan of the rustic vibe, but still want the boujie feel of modern-luxe then you’ll have to go a long way to find a venue that blends both better than here.

Lainston House - Luxury Hotel

They offer a range of options from outdoor ceremonies, use of the terrace for drinks and the beautiful Dawley Barn room for dinner. Exclusive use is obviously the dream, but they do also offer non-exclusive packages to give you this stunning venue at a much more affordable rate.
If you’re wanting the country house vibe, but with the service of a luxury hotel, then Lainston should definitely be on your list.

Laverstoke Mill - Gin Distillery
✅ Incredible architecture & unique location
✅ Perfect for a reception only option.
✅ Ultimate venue for gin lovers!
Laverstoke Mill is a working distillery for the well known Bombay Sapphire brand of gin.
This incredible Hampshire wedding venue is best known for it’s stunning glasshouse built when Bombay took over in 2010 to house the botanicals they needed to make their gin.
Offering both full-day and evening only packages, this venue is ideal to be twinned with a church or registry office ceremony and have loads of options for in house catering, or roll in a food truck to serve in the courtyard.
If you’re partial to a G&T an looking for a truly unique location to celebrate your wedding, then this might just be the hidden gem you’ve been looking for.
Square Tower - Historic / Seaside
✅ Historic venue with rooftop terrace.
✅ Ideal for smaller guest numbers.
✅ Idyllic seaside location in Portsmouth
Situated in the heart of Old Portsmouth, the Square Tower is exactly as you’d expect;
A four sided tower built in 1494 and situated on Southsea seaside, at the entrance to Portsmouth harbour.
With hire options from 2 hours to full-day, it’s a super flexible venue which many use for just their ceremony, before heading to a cool restaurant for dinner, or equally you can host the whole day here.
With no kitchen on-site, this venue gives you the freedom to pick a caterer of your choice or tap up one of Southsea’s finest independants to drop in with dinner.
From it’s private roof terrace for your drinks reception to it’s prime sunset location across the harbour. If you’re looking for a really cool, historic venue to host your wedding day then you won’t get much older (or quirky) than the Square Tower.

Clock Barn - Barn Venue

✅ 23 guest rooms for overnight accommodation.
Nestled in the rolling hills of the South Downs (but conveiniently near the A34) Clock Barn has alot to offer if you’re looking for a rustic barn wedding venue in Hampshire.
From it’s converted stable for morning preparation, to the glorious beams of it’s main barn, it’s transformation from farm to wedding venue has been truly seamless, whilst keeping all the beauty of it’s previous purpose.
Across the barn complex it offers multiple locations for indoor ceremonies as well as an
al-fresco option in the paddock across from the barn.
Surrounded by fields and the wonderful wildlife that can bring, if you’re looking for a timeless, rustic barn to host your day, then add Clock Barn to the shortlist.

Let’s not forget those New Forest wedding venues:
Burley Manor - Hotel
✅ Overlooks a park of free-roaming deer
✅ Two wedding rooms + hotel facilities.
✅ 40 guest rooms for overnight accommodation.
Burley Manor is an exquisite country hotel and wedding venue where rustic charm meets refined modernity.
With two renovated barn rooms at the rear of the hotel, these play host to your whole day from ceremony, dinner and evening reception before heading back to the hotel to stay over in their spacious honeymoon suite.
The real star of this venue is the deer park at the front of the house.
Just imagine your photos with wild deer roaming in the background?
If you’re looking for a rustic vibe but with modern touches, then Burley could be the perfect mix you’ve been searching for.
Montagu Arms - Hotel
✅ Perfect for more intimate weddings
✅ 17th Century building, full of charm.
✅ Great location for wild horses & donkeys
A historic hotel situated on the riverbank in the New Forest village of Beaulieu.
Whilst alot of the venues in the New Forest are larger in scale, this venue is quaint, intimate and perfect for smaller sized wedding celebrations.
From your ceremony in the Oakwood room, you can step out into their gardens for drinks on the lawn before being invited back inside for their incredible dining.
If you’re looking for a sophisticated venue for an intimate wedding celebration then book a viewing at Montagu Arms.
Just make sure you allow time to get stopped by donkeys laying in the road!
Pylewell Park - Country House

✅ Indoor & Outdoor ceremony options
✅ Perfect for large scale & multi-day weddings.
Recently featued in Elle magazines ‘best wedding venue’ list and it’s easy to see why; stunning country mansion with sea views, beach access and a modern pavilion in the grounds to host your dream evening reception.
The house boasts 13 bedrooms, accommodating 26 guests, one of which includes a suite with twin copper bathtubs in the bay window!
It’s definitely a BIG venue that’ll host weddings of 100+ guests easily and if you’re looking for a longer celebration, they have packages for multi day hire too.

Stunning Edwardian mansion house in the Hampshire countryside with almost 2000 acres of green space & ancient woodland surrounding it.
With options for both religious & civil ceremonies, the flexibility doesn’t stop there; they also allow marquee receptions on the lawn as an alternative to dining in the house.
If you’re wanting something grand for the day, but really let loose in the evening, they have options to open up ‘The Crypt’ in the basement which offers a more intimate space with awesome acoustics, perfect for those live bands and party vibes.
Once occupied by the Earls of Bessborough, his venue offers all the noble grandeur and country charm you’d expect, making it a truly timeless backdrop for your wedding day.
Winchester Registry Office - Town Hall
✅ 4 different ceremony rooms to cater for all sizes.
✅ Plenty of cool cafes & restaurants nearby for dinner
✅ Perfect for a small wedding or city elopement
Whilst it’s not technically a Hampshire Wedding Venue, you can get married here and the flexibility that a Reg office wedding can give is reason enough to include it on the list.
I’ve worked at most of Hampshire’s registry offices and Winchester is probably the best looking one you’ll see; set on the cobbled street of Castle Hill, this building offers a stunning backdrop with alot less of the cost of a full-blown venue.
With the Cathedral grounds within walking distance and restaurants such as The Ivy
on it’s doorstep, this venue really is ideal for a small city wedding or elopement.
Bury Court Barn - Barn Venue
✅ Preparation areas for both partners
✅ Indoor & Outdoor ceremony options
✅ Elegant Stone barn with Chandeliers
Situated on Hampshire border, close to Sussex & Surrey, this Farnham barn isn’t your typical countryside barn venue…
Whilst it’s unmistakably a brick building, the chandeliers and walled garden lean towards modern luxe than your usual rustic barn vibes.
With preparation rooms for both partners, 14 luxury doubles and a purpose built structure for outdoor ceremonies this venue works practically as well as looking good.
If you’re wanting the beauty of a barn venue, whilst dodging the rustic theming, then Bury Court is definitely the venue you should be viewing next.
Wasing Park - Barn / Estate.
✅ 3 different ceremony space options
✅ Wild Swimming Lake on-site
✅ 26 guest rooms, holding up to 64 guests.
I couldn’t do a blog on Hampshire wedding venues and not mention Wasing Park.
From it’s stunning Garden room, to the Castle Barn for dinner this estate has everything you’d want for the perfect wedding day, or weekend if a multi-day celebration is what you’re looking for?
They even have a wild-lake for a pre-wedding swim if that’s your thing!
Located at the north of the county, near Basingstoke, this venue has some really unique accomodation offerings and possibly the biggest bed I’ve ever seen in it’s hayloft honeymoon suite.
If you’re looking to decend on a venue and celebrate in style, then Wasing should 100% be on your shortlist.
Tournerbury Woods -Outdoor
✅ Unique seaside & woodland location
✅ Perfect for DIY and festival style weddings.
✅ Cottage on-site for getting ready & accomodation.
Overlooking Emsworth Harbour on Hayling Island, Tournerbury Woods might be one of the more unique Hampshire wedding venues on the list.
With a permanent marquee, nestled in a woodland clearing with easy access to the sea, this venue is idyllic for those who want to embrace the outdoors for their wedding day.
I’ve seen everything from food-trucks to axe-throwing and even a bride arrive in a speedboat at this place, so it definitely has options if you’re looking for something a little different.
As well as 2 open-air ceremony options, it’s also home to a large undercover deck area, which might offer some reassurance when putting your faith in the british weather.
If you’re looking a really cool space to host your own wedding festival and embrace the outdoors, then this place couldn’t be a better match.
