As a Portsmouth based wedding photographer, it’s always nice to shoot a wedding close to home, and even more so when it’s at the stunning Queens Hotel in Southsea.
The Queens Hotel is a luxury hotel situated right on the Southsea seafront and combines modern design with the Edwardian hertiage of the building.
When Kristina & Chris approcahed me about shooting their wedding and were after something really relaxed, all in one venue and in their hometown, it’s easy to see why this was the perfect venue for them.
They chose a June wedding to make the most of the long evenings and the Southsea sun didn’t disappoint!

Built in 1861 as a private house, it’s full of Edwardian charm, but has recently gone under a £4.4m renovation to give it a modern edge.
With 2 different wedding spaces, it has something for weddings of all sizes and stacks of on-site accomodation for your guests to stay.
The main bridal suite even has a balcony with gorgeous views of the Solent and Southsea seafront!
